The University of Oregon Police Department is hosting a class on basic use of pepper spray in self-defense for spring 2018: May 10, 4:00-5:00 p.m., or May 11, 6:00-7:00 p.m., at the UOPD Station at 2141 E. 15th Ave. just east of campus.
The class is free and open to UO students and employees, and will cover the proper use of pepper spray, recommended product characteristics, and failure drills.
Classes were also held April 12 and 13.
